We have Wwofers until 1.of July. We donot take Wwoofers in July and August. From 3. of September we have one vacancy.
Come and help us create: ”Den Helbredende have”, ”The Healing Garden on Fejoe”. For us a healing garden is a garden, where people working in the garden get healing and wellbeing. At the same time it is a garden were plants with healing properties are cultivated. “The Healing garden on Fejoe” is situated on a Permacultural landscape which has a charming design. The medical herbal garden “Orø Urtehave” has closed and given lots of plants to “The Healing garden of Fejoe”. These plants needs attention during spring and summer 2012 until they get there right placement. From Orø Urtehave we have lots of seeds. We will produce plants for the garden to be planted during autumn 2012. We also need to get the area for a Dome greenhouse ready and several other areas too.
The garden will be the fundament for activities, events, guided tours, courses and various therapies in two clinics.
Woofers will be accommodated on Fejø Retreat with host family Anne and Mick Moloney. They will however mainly be working with Hanne Oustrup, former responsible for Orø Urtehave. While working she will love to tell you about the use of medical plants, culinary herbs and how to grow them for personal use. She will also like to share how we best grow herbs organically.
