In 2008 I fall in love with an very old house on the iland Alsen in the south of Denmark. Now it is our home for me Maren (52) and my youngest datter Lisa (16).My oldest one Hannah (22) is living in New Zealand and Duncan (20) in Copenhagen.
I have two educations, ceramist and masseur and workexperience from several working places ( eks. 10 years work at an iron age village ). Now I am working at a little privat school as a social educator.
After one year of restoring some parts of the house I started my ecological B&B in may 2010 . The dream is to restore the 1. floor for B&B.
A lot of work will be with my new vegetable garden, establishing the pottery in the cellar and small jobs around the house like painting windows and doors.
There will be plenty of time to explore the iland and enjoy the summer evenings with other guests around the bonefire.
Helpers will stay in the little guestroom, in the summer it also will be in the caravan in the garden.
There is place for two to four helpers at one time. In the moment I only have place for more wwoofers from the 10th to the 25th of june, from the 23rd.of july to the 3rd of August and the last week in August and the rest of the year is vacant.
