We own 20 ha, which are grown in accordance with principles of sustainability. Since 1993 we have worked intensively on realizing a nature plan for the farm. We are aiming for self sufficiency - little by little. The setting is very beautiful and the area is appointed as nature area of international interest. You may find special birds, frogs and flora here. The island of Ærø is a very special place and invites for a number of activities.
Animals: 20 cattle and 9 calvs, chickens and cats.
Work: Seed harvest from wild plants, harvest fruits and berries, tend flowers, vegetables, fences and buildings, gather garbage and wood from the beach, take care of the animals and not the least preparing meals.
Accommodation: small apartment or a tent. No smoking and animals indoors.
Stays of min. one week preferred.
We have good experience with wwoofing and 3-5 wwoofer, there live together in one of our apartments in 4-6 weeks, during april-may and september-october.
